“The two of us were both first year medical students, studying in the United Kingdom, when we felt that there was a lack of representative student body for Malaysian medical students, both at home and abroad. We are a sizeable student body, although strewn through medical schools across the globe, we number in the thousands. That’s where the idea of MMI came in – a network of like-minded students, providing a platform to share, network and cater to the often-niche needs of today’s medical student. “

Today MMI is comprised of 6 Branch Councils and 3 Country Chapters. For Branch Councils, we oversee MMI United Kingdom, MMI Malaysia, MMI Ireland, MMI Doctors, MMI Young Medics and MMI China. Our country chapters include MMI Australia, MMI Otago and MMI India.
